We may all share one winter but for vulnerable men, women and children across the globe, our lives are worlds apart
The winter months have set in and many of us are looking forward to spending time with our loved ones in the warmth and comfort of our homes, tucking into warm, hot nutritious winter meals.
However, for families trapped in a life of poverty, left displaced from conflict and struggling after disaster’s hit, winter is far from being a time of joy. It’s a struggle for survival.
A staggering 1 in 10 people worldwide live less than £1.50 a day. For these people, winter simply means an even greater struggle to survive.
