Welcome to the Lumsdale Falls Challenge!
Take on this family friendly trek through the ruins of historic industrial mills, set picturesquely by a waterfall & wooded walking paths, all in aid of providing water for life for communities in Mali.
The walk takes you from Matlock in the stunning Peak District, along Bentley Brookn through woodland to the beautiful gorge of the Lumsdale Valley ending at the beautiful Lunsdale Falls. As you make your way through the gorge you’ll pass several historical mill ruins, waterwheels, three mill ponds and a series of waterfalls. It’s a beautiful area and one of the lesser known attractions of the Peak District area.
A challenge for the whole family, it should be a stunning day out!
