About Maulana Tariq Jamil:

Maulana Tariq Jamil is a globally renowned religious scholar and public speaker of Pakistani descent who has found popular appeal amongst Muslims across the world.

Maulana Tariq received his Islamic education from Jamia Arabia, Raiwind, and is frequently invited to deliver Islamic speeches where he actively promotes peace and harmony, tolerance and respect for everyone.

Having recorded hundreds of lectures, his work is widely available to the public and encompass a broad range of topics and issues both related to Islam and questions of social justice and community cohesion. Maulana Tariq is specifically known for his emphasis on self-rectification and self-accountability in order to be a valued member of society.

Currently the Chairman of Madrasa Jamia Al Hasanain in Faisalabad, Pakistan, he is also listed in the Top 50 of The World’s Most Influential Muslims for 2018.

When will I be sent the venue details?

When the venue details are confirmed, an email will be sent to you for the event you’ve purchase tickets for with the relevant details.

Do I need to buy a ticket for my child/children?

A ticket must be purchased for anyone requiring their own seat. Any young children who will not be taking a seat i.e. sitting on their parent’s lap will therefore not be required to purchase a ticket.

What is the maximum number of tickets I can book?

You can book as many times as you wish. In any one single booking, you can book up to 5 tickets.

Can I pre-book an allocated seat?

No, seats will be available on a first come first serve basis.

I can no longer attend, can I transfer my ticket to a friend?

Yes you can, however please note that each ticket will be scanned at the venue and one ticket cannot be used twice.

If I can no longer make it to the city I booked for, can I go to another event with the same ticket?

We would refund your ticket for the original city and you would have to purchase a new ticket for the new event.

Can I get a refund, if so, how?

You can get a full refund up to 7 days before the event. After this, all tickets are non-refundable. To request a refund, please email events@islamic-relief.org.uk.

Is parking available at these events?

There are designated car parks available either onsite or nearby at all events. Please check online and make your travel arrangements accordingly.

Is there disabled access for these events?

Yes, there is disabled access at all of the venues.

Is there separated or segregated seating?

There will be designated Brothers, Sisters and Families sections at each venue.

Are photos and videos captured at the events?

Yes photos and videos will be being captured before, during and after the event. If at any point you feel uncomfortable or do not want to be captured, please let one of the nearest staff or volunteers know.

What is the format of the events? How long will each event last?

The events will be in a lecture format – with each evening lasting approximately four hours. Snacks and refreshments will be available to purchase.

Will food be provided?

Dinner will not be provided at the events however some events may have snacks and refreshments available to purchase. For further information, please email events@islamic-relief.org.uk.

Yes, these events are family friendly.

Will there be a meet and greet with Maulana Tariq Jamil?

There will be no opportunity for meet and greet.

Are there prayer facilities at the venue?

Yes, there will be facilities made available for prayer.

Are there stalls we can hire at these events?

No, we will not be taking stall bookings for any of the Maulana Tariq Jamil events.

What time will the event start?

The event is expected to begin promptly one hour after the doors open. This is to allow enough time for guests to register and get seated. Seats are allocated on a first come first serve basis.
