The average pilgrim will walk 72km during their Hajj. This multiplied by the approximate 2.5million people that attend Hajj, is a cumulative 180million kilometers walked over the days of Hajj.
What is the challenge?
With another Hajj looking different to every other year due to COVID-19, the crowds of pilgrims we are so used to seeing walking between the rites of Hajj, will be significantly smaller.
To keep this spirit of Hajj alive, Islamic Relief volunteers and challengers from across the globe will be cycling this distance over the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah and we want YOU to join in!
Plan your 10 days, grab your bicycle and set off on your Hajj inspired journey this year!
