Beefing up the menu for Charity Week: Head to these restaurants for tasty and charitable bites!

Charity Week (CW) is almost here and we’re super excited to announce that we’ve joined up with various restaurants, cafés and dessert joints across the country. From London, Leicester and Manchester, lots of businesses are taking part to help CW ensure that even more orphans and children in need can look towards a brighter future.

So, if you’re out and about in the next coming days, why not stop for a bite to eat and head to one of these great places? You’ll not only get to taste some of the great food on offer but be helping towards an important charitable cause!

22nd – 28th October 2018

 

Band of Burgers (Brick Lane, London)

Known as one of the best halal burger joints in London, Band of Burgers serve mouth-watering burgers, steaks and more. So what are you waiting for? Head on over!

How they’re taking part: A massive 50% of profits accrued during CW will be donated towards CW.

 

The Great Chase (Islington, London)

Voted as the best restaurant in Clerkenwell and Farringdon in the Time Out Love London Awards, The Great Chase offers high quality, seasonal, halal food with a dry bar serving up non-alcoholic cocktails, rare teas and speciality coffee. Fabulous!

How they’re taking part: All sales from every CW inspired dessert (chocolate fondant with confit kumquats, white chocolate and cornflake ice cream) and drink (Spritz Al Lampone) will be donated to IRUK.

 

Chit Chaat Chai (Wandsworth, London)

This Indian street food restaurant serves some of the best small plates, chaats and chai in London.

How they’re taking part: All profits from every ‘Gulaab (Rose) Doughnuts’ sold will be donated to IRUK.

 

Smoky Boys (Watford and Hounslow, London)

Smoky Boys is all about great meat with big flavours! Using only premium cuts of halal Angus beef and the best British lamb or chicken, they’re definitely worth a visit! Head down to their Watford or Hounslow branches this Charity Week for a tasty treat.

How they’re taking part: All profits from their ‘Smoky Bandit’ burger will be donated towards CW.

 

Fatburger (Wembley, London)

An American chain with locations all over the world, Fatburger Wembley is one of the newest branches of the brand. Try out their burgers or their juicy wings this Charity Week – the lemon pepper flavour is a must have!

How they’re taking part: Round up your bill at the till and the difference will be donated towards CW!

 

Waffle & Scoop (Leicester)

This premium dessert parlour serves artisan waffles and soft serve ice cream for those of you with a sweet tooth. Too delicious to resist!

How they’re taking part: Profits from their CW wafflestick and milkshakes will be donated towards CW.

 

Lemon Pepper (Leicester)

Looking for a high quality HMC certified steakhouse in Leicester? Then look no further than Lemon Pepper! A must-visit!

How they’re taking part: All profits from their unique ‘Charity Week-er’ burger will be donated towards CW.

 

New Yorker Diner (Manchester)

This American street food spot in Manchester is known for its quirky, tasty and fresh food. So if you’re in the area, head on over!

How they’re taking part: 10% of profits during the week will be donated towards CW.

How they’re taking part: A percentage of profits during this week will be donated towards CW.

 

An Najeeb (Leicester)

Only a three minute walk from the railway station, An Najeeb serves a range of Indo-Chinese dishes in the heart of Leicester for those of you in the East Midlands area.

How they’re taking part: Tin / bucket collections will be available at the restaurant during CW.

 

Chaiiwala (all branches in the UK)

With humble beginnings in Leicester, Chaiiwala now has 14 locations across the UK. So get your karak chai or desi breakfast fix at one of their stores during Charity Week!

How they’re taking part: Tin / bucket collections will be available at their cafés during CW.

 

Heavenly Desserts (all branches in the UK)

At Heavenly Desserts, you’ll find irresistible desserts from fluffy waffles to cookie dough delicacies served at five branches across the UK. Why not satisfy your sweet tooth and do a charitable deed whilst you’re there?

How they’re taking part: Tin / bucket collections will be available at the dessert parlours during CW.
