Sultan Ahmed joined Islamic Relief in 2014 and has over 10 years’ experience in the humanitarian sector. Sultan spent his childhood in the oasis city of Al-Ain, United Arab Emirates (UAE), before moving to the UK and graduating in BA (Hons) Operations Management. He was recognised for his talents by being nominated as one of the '50 Brightest British Bangladeshis in 2014’. Recently Sultan opened the first ever iftar at the House of Commons with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an. Outside of work Sultan is an avid beekeeper and finds inspiration from getting stung by bees, loves travelling and supports Arsenal.
