Islamic Relief UK is looking for a Web Developer as we go through a period of exciting change.

Islamic Relief, a leading international relief and development charity based in UK, is looking to recruit a talented and experienced individual to join our lively and creative marketing department as Web Developer. Reporting to the Digital Engagement Manager, the Web Developer will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Islamic Relief UK’s digital assets, particularly the website as well as all future developments of the website and other digital platforms.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Have an academic qualification at degree level or equivalent experience/qualification in a digital/web development related field
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of CMS, particularly WordPress
  • Have working knowledge of PHP , HTML, CSS, SQL and Javascript
  • Have in-depth understanding of UX and UI in the context of website design
  • Be skilled and experienced in managing website development projects
  • Be experienced in working from wireframes and written design briefs to build mobile responsive solutions
  • Experience of managing website development projects
