As bombs rain down on Syrian families while they sleep, we can go home to safety. As the hunger spreads in East Africa, we are blessed to have food in our stomachs. As children in Pakistan cry out for an education, we have free schools and libraries.
As families face deadly diseases from drinking contaminated water, we have daily access to clean water
During the blessed month of Ramadan, our fast serves as a reminder of the hardships that millions of people living in poverty endure daily. At Iftar time we are able to satisfy our hunger and thirst and replenish our bodies with the nutrients we need, whilst for many of our brothers and sisters, constant hunger and danger are a way of life.
Now more than ever, they need your generosity.
This Ramadan you can help save lives
Ramadan is a time of self-discipline and self-sacrifice; a period to reflect and show compassion for those less fortunate. There is no better time than the blessed month to give charity.
The Prophet (SAW) said: “Whoever helps his brother in his time of need, Allah will be there in his time of need.”
Since 1984, Islamic Relief has saved and changed over 100 million lives. Right now we are on the ground in more than 40 countries around the world, ready to assist the most vulnerable people.
Time is running out for millions of people across the world who face a daily fight for survival, but, together, we can help to ease their suffering.
By donating your Zakat and Sadaqah to Islamic Relief, you will help save and change lives.
