There is currently a need for assistance with the following roles:

 Role:

Volunteer Ramadan Mosque fundraisers x 3

Location:

Islamic Relief UK Head Office
16 Lower Marsh
London SE1 7RJ 

To assist our mosque team by;

Visiting Mosques and obtaining a collection evening at the mosque during the nights of Ramadan.

Attending mosque collection during Ramadan

Making public appeals during Ramadan.

Distributing leaflets at various mosques during Ramadan.

Help maintain relationship with mosques after Ramadan.

Duration:

Starting date: From 1st July 2010 till end Sept. 2010

Time:

Between Zohr and Asr prayers and after Taraweeh during the month of Ramadan plus the whole day of Friday

Frequency: 3 nights per week.

Personal specification:

Honest, self motivated and hard working person

Genuine interest in current affairs and development issues

Excellent public speaking skills

Strong motivation and empathy towards the aims and objectives of Islamic Relief

Willingness to work unsocial hours including evenings and weekends from time to time

Note:

This is a voluntary work. It is a good opportunity to enhance your C.V by working with us. Full training will be given to you. A certificate of achievement will be issued at the end of the period. Travel expenses will be paid.
