Islamic Relief aid reaches Syria
Islamic Relief, the international aid and development agency, announced today that it has been distributing medical aid to the Syrian city of Homs since March 7.
The Birmingham-based organisation has so far delivered nearly 13,000 GBP worth of medical aid to three civilian makeshift clinics. The aid consisted of anaesthetics, tetanus vaccinations, blood transfusion bags and a variety of antibiotics. Read More

Government recognises Islamic Relief’s expertise in disaster response
Islamic Relief is joining a network of experts who can be called on by the Government in times of international crisis, such as famine, floods and earthquakes.
The new facility will mobilise life-saving support from Britain's best businesses and charities in the critical hours after a disaster strikes.
