| With the study of charity and Islam being key requirements as part of the school syllabus, Islamic Relief has been working to develop materials and resources to help teachers with new perspectives in these subject areas. The materials are written from an Islamic perspective however, and so could be a useful resource when teaching RE and Geography too, in order to introduce children to different viewpoints on the same issue.
We have developed posters, jigsaws, case studies, leaflets, pamphlets, and more to help to help you in your work. Each of these is downloadable from the website by clicking on the relevant icon. You could perhaps even complement these resources by booking an Islamic Relief speaker to visit your school. Capacity at present is very limited and we can only offer this in some parts of the UK. However if you fill in and return the booking form to us, we will happily accept an invite if we are able to attend.
We can also offer hard copies of the posters in A2 and A3 size; please fill in the request form with all relevant details completed. We will send you the products as soon as possible. |
